OF BIG BEND NATIONAL PARK
Due
to the shear size, diversity and remoteness of Big Bend National Park,
many unsuspecting visitors become perplexed by the range of choices they
must make when they get to the park. What is there to do within the range
of their desirable activities; i.e. hiking, road tours, historical and
cultural sites, desert sports, etc.? How much time is required of these
activities? What are their best choices within the time frame of their
visit? With this section, I will attempt to describe some of my favorite
activities in Big Bend National Park, with a reference to accessibility,
time requirements and some of the highlights. Keep in mind that there are
many other choices of things to see and do that one may wish to include
