| Shelter from the
Storm
Though the storm has passed
And the winds have gone away
Its shadow still lingers
And evening's cast is gray
For the nighttime brings peace
And a dreamless sleep is sure
But watchful eyes see morning
As the storm repeats its tour
For the storm of life remembers
All the doors it crushed before
And will seek out to destroy them
'Til the doors will close no more
But for those who reinforce them
Will set the storm at bay
And seldom to return, their doors
May set open 'til that day
